Dynamics Testing

Camden has over 45,000 square feet of enclosed environmentally conditioned computer-controlled test buildings. Within these customized buildings, NTS performs vibration and shock testing on hazardous test items with multiple dynamic shaker systems capable of up to 40,000 force pounds, and 7-inch displacement, at temperatures from -68 C to +121 C (-90 F to +250 F). Test articles include live and inert warheads, rocket motors, weapons, and ammunition, in containers or without.

Dynamics control is centrally located among the vibration test buildings. This facility houses the controllers, amplifiers, monitoring equipment, and data acquisition for all of the vibration equipment. The control facility also includes office space for staff and customers, and features high-speed internet connections.
